You Are Fit Milwaukee

We at Fit Milwaukee are, as Journal Sentinel reporter Erin Richards described, “a loosely organized fitness club”. People often ask me what they need to do to join our “club”.

You are probably already doing it.

Do you:

  • Stay active?
  • Take care of yourself?
  • Make new friends?
  • Talk to strangers?
  • Encourage others?
  • Make time for family fun and fitness?
  • Share your experiences?

If you answered yes to any of these, then you are a part of Fit Milwaukee.

For right now, FitMilwaukee.com is indeed very loosely run, with the posts being populated by a few friends who like to write about what we’re learning. We are always accepting guest posts and information about cool events coming up in the area.

We thrive on volunteers and impromptu gatherings fueled by Twitter and Dailymile. We’re not perfect. We need help.

We have generous friends in the right places, like Jennie Brand who designed our awesome new logo, Tim Cigelske and Tom Held who participate in and promote our events, and Chris Ponteri and Glenn Podlesnik who helped organize the Great Milwaukee Race.
