The 2012 Icebreaker Indoor Marathon will take place the weekend of January 20th-22nd at the Pettit National Ice Center. Events will include a full marathon, half marathon, 5K, and of course our personal favorite, the marathon relay. While there are thankfully lots of viable options in our area, one place I always direct people to is Performance Running Outfitters. The team at PRO has teamed up with Fit Milwaukee to put on our annual Great Milwaukee Race, and owners Trae and Jessica Hoepner are great to work with!

But some of us (*raises hand*) are procrastinators and haven’t registered for the Wisconsin Marathon or Half Marathon yet.
Fit Milwaukee had a large contingent at the 2010 event – complete with cheering section! This year we’ll come out in full force once again to hoot, holler, cheer, stomp, whistle, and scream for all our FitMKE friends.
So, when you come down to Kenosha on May 7th to run 13.1 or 26.2 miles, we’ll be there cheering for you too!
