If you would have asked me four years ago to go for a run, I would have chuckled, grabbed my book, and taken a seat while you went for your run. I was not a runner, or much of anything that involved exercise. I might throw in a work out DVD once in a while or go for a walk around the neighborhood on a nice day. It’s not really summer until the pools are open right? Well, if you’re someone who has been waiting patiently to take a dip in the water you’re in luck this weekend. Milwaukee County Park pools officially open for the season on Saturday, June 19th! Most locations are open daily from 1-5pm with admission only $2 for anyone 12 and over, $1 for kids ages 3 to 11 and the little ones under 3 are freebies.
