In a nutshell, it is a run/walk interval training program designed to take a person from a couch potato to being able to run for 30 minutes straight in roughly 9 weeks. Being the total nerd that I am, I stereotypically loathed gym class in junior high and high school. Although I loved playing on my volleyball and basketball teams, physical education was the most dreaded part of my day.
