A great way to stay focused if you are trying to drop a few pounds (or even just maintain a healthy weight) is to keep a food journal. I don’t necessarily mean obsessing over every bite you put into your mouth but keeping general ballpark log can be very helpful if you are counting calories. It can also be a real eye opener if you’re not the type to pay attention to that sort of thing.
