The big day is coming up: the Milwaukee-area runner’s reunion that we refer to as the Icebreaker Indoor Marathon Relay! Here are a few tips to get you through the day… sort of like an FAQ from what we’ve learned in previous years.

Before the race starts you can place your belongings, warm ups, and water bottles here, and during the race it will . . . → Read More: Tips for the Icebreaker Indoor Marathon Relay

As the Indoor Marathon relay teams began to pack into the Pettit Center on Saturday, I suddenly became a person who hugs everyone. I saw so many familiar faces, so many smiles, so much excitement! I could tell the energy was good, if bit nervous. I often tell people that being nervous is a good thing, it means you’re about to do something that’s important to you.

Fit Milwaukee Team 1 had a finish time of 3:32:34 and Fit Milwaukee Team 2 came in at 4:04:01- 28th and 49th places respectively out of 68 teams. Not too shabby! Combined together we make two lean, mean, marathon running machines. What was so special about . . . → Read More: Marathon Relay Recap
