Curtis Gibeaut, captain
Running since: I have been running on and off over the last year. Over a decade ago I was an avid runner in the Army Infantry. I had since let myself go. Not anymore.
Miles per week: 12 to 20 now.
Favorite place to run: My favorite place to run is anywhere I have company. I do not like running by myself. I have been spending a lot of time on the treadmill with my friend John Love lately.
Proudest running achievement: The proudest running achievement is the fact that after 10 years . . . → Read More: Meet FitMKE Indoor Marathon Relay Team: Rox Ur Sox

Nick Melchi, captain
Running since: May 2010
Miles run per week: Around 30, give or take 10
Favorite place to run: Anywhere outside, though I’ve grown quite fond of the Lake Geneva countryside which is where 90% of my runs take place.
Proudest running achievement: Running in the Chicago Half Marathon in September of this year.
Jessie Moore
Running Since: Technically 2005, though not seriously until Spring 2010
Miles run per week: ~9-15 – Ideally on the high end of that. Unfortunately, I’m currently injured and am taking a few weeks off in the hopes of healing up. I wasn’t injured when I registered for the relay! It’s frustrating.

Becky Landberg, Team Captain
Running Since: I probably started running for about 20 minutes two or three times a week consistently around May of 2009, and just stuck with it for awhile. Then I really started running just before Thanksgiving 2009 and have been going every since!
Miles run per week: Usually 20-25
Favorite Place to run: Down around Lake Michigan
Proudest Running Achievement: This is a tough one. Probably finishing the Discovery 15k a couple weeks ago without walking, but the race I was honestly most nervous for and felt the proudest of myself for finishing was my first 5k without stopping last January . . . → Read More: Meet FitMke Indoor Marathon Relay Team Mara-Tron

Please welcome Karen Gill as she shares with us her experience embarking on a hGC Homeopathic DIet. An hG-WHAT you say? Well read on, my friends:
I have been cooking professionally for almost 6 years and as a hobbyist for over 20. It is simple why I cook. I LOVE FOOD. I am not a total food snob and that can get me into trouble. I know all the right things to eat and how to cook healthy meals, but many times I choose to eat whatever I want; the good, the bad and the downright ugly. . . . → Read More: Detox Diets? How long have you been running/biking?
I have been running for two months now and I started cycling last summer. I was really enjoying cycling but then it started getting cold and dark and that was reason . . . → Read More: Don’t Think, Just Do It
